the 'gathering for growth'
Bespoke development programmes for businesses who want their people to benefit from exceptional and unique development experiences without the normal day to day distractions in an incredible setting; one of the world’s greatest outdoor development spaces. Programmes can be either content or CSR project led.
They are for businesses looking for something different, that deeply engages their team members in new ways, and wanting to build more powerful emotional bonds between themselves and the people they wish to further develop.
Our prime objective is to enable your people to:
Re Think : Re Charge : Re Focus and Re Boot
Immersive experiences that will be remembered and benefitted from for many years to come.
Even at professional training and networking events in the UK there is an incredible amount of ‘white noise’ and distraction. In KwaZulu Natal the distractions are minimal, the environment is probably one of the best development spaces in the world, and the day to day pressure we normally feel in our working lives dissipates, enabling learning and development to take place in a mindful, focused and productive way on the topics and issues to hand.
Whether content or community project led programmes, the final design and content of an Ukukhula Indaba is determined uniquely for your business.
Corporate Social Responsibility
South Africa presents us with a broad range of opportunities for bolting on meaningful CSR initiatives that your business may want to consider and that would engage your people in fund raising and working ‘on the ground’ – perhaps an opportunity to put new skills to the test! Just some of the options available are:
- Working to improve facilities and care at HIV and other medical centres or clean water for rural villages
- Working with rural schools to enhance facilities and learning resources
- Helping to make small conservancies energy independent and carbon neutral
- Projects in wildlife and/or habitat conservation alongside Wild Tomorrow Fund
This could include being involved in Rhino dehorning, Elephant collaring, Hyena collaring or helping to ‘re-wild’ new conservancies
When in Africa
There is also the opportunity make an incredible addition at the end of the indaba by bolting on a Big 5 Safari at Hluhluwe Imfolozi, Africa’s oldest recognised game reserve. This would require just 2 further days in-country (for little extra investment)
