An evolution in development

At Odyssey Invictus we’re dedicated to providing a range of unique, bespoke, and retreat style development experiences for people in today’s increasingly demanding workplaces and pressured world.

It is an evolution of the Odyssey Group that I founded in 2002 as an international leadership, talent and people development company that has worked with thousands of individuals and teams across 6 continents, providing fully bespoke career and performance enhancing development programmes for businesses; ranging from small start-ups to some of the world’s best-known brands.

An integral part of our work is being able to connect with people at an individual level, recognising that everyone is unique and everyone is facing their own challenges; some publicly and some privately in their day to day lives and careers, and, balancing their needs with those of the companies they work for.

Now, at Invictus, where we have a passion for people development, human connectivity and the natural world, we integrate world class development content with the latest research and practices for wellbeing, and, learning about new cultures and environments.

We achieve this through combining our expertise with that of carefully selected partner organisations and specialists in the UK and South Africa.

South Africa, more than any of the other 52 countries we have spent time in, being exposed to its cultures, wildlife and environment, is where we recognised the power, importance and developmental benefits of more formally integrating our passions; connecting people, connecting with diverse cultures, and, re-connecting with the natural world as an integral part of corporate and personal development initiatives:

working with people in new ways, in new and sometimes challenging environments - in locations that are conducive to fully integrating well-being at the heart of what we do.

South Africa, and KwaZulu Natal in particular, feels like ‘the natural world’s decompression chamber’, a place where time seems to stand still, everyday pressures dissipate and people are able to ‘re-balance’ themselves’.

A place and setting in which people can focus in an incredibly mindful way on the topics to hand.  A decompression chamber in which they can genuinely:

Re Think, Re Charge, Re Focus and Re Boot
