Also, please check with your Doctor or http://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk about any medication or vaccinations you may require.
You can download the relevant health questionnaire below
Please ensure any medication you carry is legally allowed in South Africa. Also, if routing through Dubai, please check for that stop-over also.
indemnity form
Our partner, Africa Wild Trails, has the highest level of clearance available from the UK’s National Cadet Force for Health and Safety and Risk Management for taking people to countries such as South Africa. This indemnity is to protect Odyssey Invictus and our partners from any unwarranted claims that could arise should something untoward happen. It does not protect us should we be negligent in our duty of care towards you. There are risks associated will all travel and whilst we can manage these in-country, we can’t anticipate everything and there may be occasions when people don’t follow the advice given and put themselves and others at risk.
SUGGESTED CLOTHING LIST
No special clothing is required but we recommend lightweight clothing that can be layered if needed and a light-medium weight fleece or similar, as the evenings can be chilly. Also, for when we are in the bush we recommend a sturdy pair of walking shoes with ankle support.
Please try and avoid any clothing that is white as it attracts flying insects!
A suggested kit list can be downloaded below
Visas and Passports
No visa is required for a person holding a full UK passport. Your passport will need to be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your scheduled return date to the UK.
Money
The currency in South Africa is the South African Rand.
